Its a nice relaxing Saturday morning. There is snow on the ground. We have plans later, but that’s not the focus right now. I think the thing I look mostly forward to, when it comes to the weekends, is the relaxing quiet mornings. Is anyone else like that? Also throughout the week, my breakfasts are actually pretty simple and fairly healthy, if I get around to it. But weekends… weekends are for toasted bread items with creamy butter, to dip in runny yummy egg yolks. For greasy bacon and sausage. Or if you are having the morning sweet tooth, something drowned in syrup shall just do. This morning was a Breakfast Sandwich kind of morning. And nothing fancy by anymeans, but I did happen to make mostly all of it in my air-fryer at the same time, so that’s kinda freakin cool. Though my egg was not made in the air-fryer, they do sell silicone bowls online I believe, so that you can do so. I don’t currently have one to be all frankly honest, but it is okay because my heart wanted a good ol’ fried egg in some brown butter. Anyways, if you have an air-fryer I hope you get to enjoy this! We currently have a Ninja Foodi that has an Air-Fryer in it, so that is what I used. But use whatever ya got. 🙂 And if you don’t have an Air-Fryer and you are debating it… don’t debate anymore, just go get one. It is worth it.
Almost All Air-Fryer Breakfast Sandwich
A simple breakfast favorite, almost all made in your air fryer, in minutes!
Ingredients
- 1 English Muffin Cut in half, and buttered on both sides
- Garlic Salt
- 1-2 Pre-Cooked Frozen Sausage Patties
- 1 Slice of American Cheese
- 1 Egg
- Butter or Cooking Spray for Frying Egg
Instructions
- Preheat your air-fryer to 390 degrees for a few minutes.
- Now our air-fryer came with a trivet, and so I put my sausage below it on the bottom of the bin, followed by trivet/round wire rack.
- Take buttered english muffin, and on one side sprinkle some garlic salt, on the other add the cheese. Add on top of trivet, above the sausage patties. Cook for 6 minutes.
- When a few minutes have gone by and you have a few left, time to heat cooking oil or butter on a frying pan and fry your egg.
- When done, first take out english muffins and set on plate. Be careful to not burn yourself using an oven mit or something to prevent your hand from burning to remove trivet. Take sausage patties and put on sandwich, followed by egg.
- Enjoy!
