So. When I say I take my “Sunday’s a day of rest”, seriously…. I must mean it. Sunday is the night I give my fiancé, Joe, the reigns in the kitchen. Or to choose whatever we have for dinner (rather it be a home cooked meal, going out or takeout) it’s kind of nice because it gives me a night off and I can spend that time with our daughter, Gracie, or get some planning done for the week to come. Well tonight I was in for a treat. He cooks a decently wide variety of dishes, but this is one of my favorites he makes. Crawfish Etouffee served with Boudin Sausage, and a French Baguette with Cajun Spiced Butter. Yum! Super delicious, though because I didn’t cook I didn’t snag a recipe, but if you would like to see one for this or for some of his dishes, I might be able to work that out. For now, I am just enjoying some dinner I didn’t have to make tonight. Have a great rest of your evening and a great start to your week.
