Why would I need this recipe, Lindsey?
Quite frankly, you don’t… but I would love for my blog be a space for you to not find only some pretty and elaborate dishes, but some easier ones, and relatively healthier dishes, as well!
This is one of those sandwiches I will purposefully get the almond butter with the oil included. (I usually otherwise get it without.)
This is also a perfect way, if you bought a jar of almond butter with the oil but didn’t plan on it, to use a bit of it up.
By using a little drizzle of the almond butter oil to grill your sandwich in, and then followed by a sprinkle of sea salt, it adds some damn good flavor to this sandwich. Follow the recipe below and enjoy!
Grilled Almond Butter and Banana Sandwich
Ingredients
- 1 Banana Sliced
- 2 Slices Bread (I used Ezekiel Sesame Bread for this)
- Almond Butter, plus its oil
- Sea Salt for seasoning
Instructions
- Take your bread and spread some almond butter on both sides. Add Banana Slices, and sprinkle just a pinch of sea salt.
- In a medium sized skillet, add a drizzle of the almond butter oil from the jar. Heat to medium-high heat, and add your sandwich. Grill on both sides until toasty and brown.
- Sprinkle a little more sea salt on the outer sides of the sandwich.
- Slice how you like it and enjoy!
