On medium to medium-high heat, depending on your stove, heat olive oil and butter. Add Onion and sautee until translucent and soft, about 2-3 minutes.
Add garlic and sautee, stirring frequently, until fragrant, about 30 seconds to a minute.
Add in your tomato sauce and whisk well to incorporate well with onions and garlic.
Add in your dried basel, sugar, and salt and pepper to taste. But be careful if you will be using Tony Cachere's, to not use too much salt since both have sodium.
Add in your heavy cream, followed by hot sauce and Tony Cachere's. Remember to always taste as you go so things are flavored and as spicy as you want, or to your preference. Bring to a boil real quick to let thicken, for about 30 seconds. Bring back down to low and add in pasta a little at a time, stirring to cover completely with sauce.
Add in parmesan and stir in well, to incorporate into pasta.
Add parsley to garnish if desired.
