Asiago & Parmesan Crisps and Shrimp Appetizer
Cause who says fun appetizers have to stop after NYE?? These small bite snacks are very light and delicious and INCREDIBLY easy to make. Having the ladies over for wine and gossip? The prep and cook of these are completely stress free, and the savory butter drizzle and crispiness, will be sure to impress. If you make these without the shrimp, they are also fabulous as a salad topper. Enjoy!
Ingredients
Cheese Crisps
- 1 Cup Grated Asiago Cheese
- 1 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 2 Tbsp All-Purpose Flour
- Olive Oil Extra Virgin
Shrimp
- 1 Stick Butter
- 10-12 Uncooked Shrimp, peeled, deveined and tails removed
- 2 Tsp Cajun Seasoning
- 3 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- Salt and Pepper To Taste
- Italian Herb Seasoning for Garnish
Instructions
Cheese Crisps
- Mix cheeses and flour in a bowl. Heat pan with Olive Oil, to Medium-Low heat. Take 2 Tbsp worth of cheese mix, and put on skillet spreading a little bit with a spoon. Cook 3 minutes, flip and continue to cook another 2-3 minutes more. Remove and place on a platter.
Shrimp
- Pat dry and season shrimp with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning.
- Melt butter in skillet on medium high heat.
- When skillet is hot, add shrimp, cook on both sides 2-3 minutes until completely cooked. Scoop shrimp onto separate plate and set aside.
- To the butter, add Worcestershire Sauce, and more Cajun Seasoning to taste.
- Place 1-2 pieces of shrimp on each Cheese Crisp. Drizzle lightly with the butter sauce and garnish with Italian Herb Seasoning.
